Welcome to my world of HEAVY METAL BIKES. They are made with bearings, nuts, bolts and what ever else I can find. Along with a brazing tourch and a little imagination, I produce these Metal Art Motorcycles.
I braze all the parts together, sandblast them clean and then polish them up. Most of my larger bikes will come apart for easier cleaning and polishing. All of the bearings will spin freely. On the one below I added a touch of blue paint on the wheels for a little color. Most of my bikes are left with a bare metal finish, execpt the seats are painted black. I tried painting a few bikes but they ended up looking like a cheap plastic model.
These smaller bikes are a bit more simple and the bearings don't always work because of the high heat from the torch,
This bike has a frame made from nails, along with the exaust pipes. The muffler are roll pins.
This bike has nuts welded in the wheels to give it a mag wheel affect. The frame and exuast pipes are made of nails and the mufflers are cement anchors.
My wife designs custom Barbie dolls, so she made a biker Barbie for one of my bikes. She fits quite nice on this bike.
If you like Barbie Dolls visit my wifes album on photopoint. She custom makes all of Barbies dresses
